How the Vision Started

When life gives you great loss you can turn it into Gratitude.

Some years ago, after I lost my job, my car, a friend, and many other losses I felt like I was going to lose my mind. I began to feel depressed, so I started practicing gratitude and journaling daily while burning a candle. The candle's fragrance always made me feel peaceful, so as I wrote down my feeling and what I was grateful for instead of concentrating on the bad things I started to feel grateful and thankful for what I did have. I continued to practice Gratitude for 100 till Thanksgiving, but there was still a yearning down in my soul to have Gratitude each and every day. Shortly after I started a Facebook group called "Vision an Attitude of Gratitude."

There is always something to be grateful for and I know I can find at least 1 thing each day to be grateful for. Today I thank God for the yearning desire down in my soul. When I started to think of a business name I knew I wanted something that was inspirational and empowering, and on December 1st, 2018 Vision of Gratitude launched. It started with just candles, and about 10 months later I was able to add shea butter, sugar scrubs, soaps, and more. We may all suffer losses in our lives, but we can choose to focus on the good things we have to be grateful for. I hope this inspires someone and grows their appreciation for each and every day.
